Summary: The best thing about this Hotel was the location. While the rooms appear to be updated, the hotel's age was obvious. Pictures show the dark residue (possible mold) on the outside of the shower, inside as well just not pictured. There was something that looked like a booger on one of the pillowcases but we couldn't decipher if it was that or food. Either way it was dirty. Every wall was dirty and if it wasn't dirt, there were lots of random holes that looked like someone just took a pen and poked through the dry wall. There wasn't one single mirror in the room, only the bathroom. There was dust everywhere we turned in the room. No extra pillow or blankets in the closet like typical hotels. Refrigerator was not cold. Check in process was a bit hectic. No signs or anything to denote lines so people were kind of just standing everywhere. We checked in late (after 9pm) and it was busy. Wouldn't stay here again unless it was free and only for 1 night.

Summary: Very comfortable room, didn’t get to use the pool but food options seemed nice and there were fire pits and such but we were tired from our travels. Only disappointment was no microwave in the room but a small one on main floor but not near a kitchen or sink so had to travel back to our room for water to make some easy Mac and noodles for a quick easy dinner.

Summary: It was very. It was great that we had connecting rooms so there was plenty of space. Beds were very comfortable. The Food in the restaurant was excellent!

Summary: I had no expectations of this place, we actually didn't come because of Universal, just had an appointment nearby and I thought my son would enjoy this place more than a roadside hotel as it has lots to do and lots within walking. Usually when something says "family friendly" I get the ick. Honestly, what a delight. We waited in line to check in and were greeted with popsicles, everything is convenient, shuttle is great, food and bar open late, the pool, friendliness, and the best pillows on the planet. I would visit here time and again.

Summary: The room was clean, but we had a room by the freeway and the noise was awful. I thought the slider was open but it wasn’t. No amount of “white” noise helped. Literally the worst night of sleep.

Summary: It's a beautiful place to stay and very close to universal. However, the housekeeping needs to be addressed. There was blood stains on our sheets when we went to go to bed that night.

Summary: Overall all, we hotel is fine. It could use a some updating. The only issue is that there’s a weird smell as soon as you walk in the building and in the room. The sofa bed is rock-hard. The best part is the breakfast buffet and its proximity to the park (no need to take the shuttle since the park is only 10 mins walk).
